Man Found Dead In York City Parking Lot, Coroner Says

A man was found dead in a York City parking lot on Saturday the York County Coroner's office announced Monday evening.

The York County Coroner's office was called to a parking lot at 380 West Market Street at 7:01 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Who found the man and how exactly he was located is unknown

Deputy Coroner Karen Frank investigated and certified the man's death. He was pronounced dead at 7:41 a.m. on Saturday.

His next-of-kin has been notified according to the release. His cause and manner of death are pending. 

York City Police is investigating. The coroner's office noted, "At this time, there is no concern for public safety."
